What I have actually built.
Fourteen years of delivery before AI, and three years building with it. This page is the long version.
What am I doing now?
Bridge.Digital, 2024 to now
Founder. AI consulting and transformation for small and mid-market companies. I find where AI returns money in a business, build the roadmap, and implement it.
A recent one: a NetSuite integration for a manufacturer, where the AI sits on top of an ERP that was never designed to be asked questions in plain language. The people who ran that process kept running it. They just stopped digging for the answers by hand.
ERIDA, 2025 to now
Co-founder and CTO. Swiss legal and compliance AI, in beta.
It answers legal and social-welfare questions for people who cannot afford a lawyer, in their own language, grounded in the law where they live. Retrieval is the hard part. The law changes, it differs by region, and an answer that was right last year is a liability this year.
The work is funded in part by an Innosuisse innovation cheque, with a research partnership at the University of Bern.
AstroSignal, 2026 to now
Founder. A consumer app built on real ephemeris calculations, with a model writing the narrative on top of the maths rather than guessing at both.
What did I build before AI?
Overdose Digital, 2019 to 2024
Managing Director of a global commerce agency. Nine offices: Auckland, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Singapore, Berlin, New York, Los Angeles and Kyiv. More than two hundred people.
We delivered enterprise commerce for Karl Lagerfeld, DKNY, Patagonia and Goodyear, among others. Commercetools Partner of the Year more than once, and Yotpo Excellence APAC.
Running delivery at that size is mostly not a technical job. It is staffing, sequencing, and telling a client early when a date is not going to hold.
MAGE DIRECT, 2017 to 2019
CEO of a Czech enterprise e-commerce engineering firm. Sixty-plus enterprise projects delivered.
In 2019 the business merged into Overdose Digital, which is how the role above began.
What does that add up to?
Two things that are useful together and fairly rare apart.
I can build the system myself. Not manage someone who builds it, build it. That is what makes a one-person engagement worth more than a team of five who need managing.
And I have run the other side. Budgets, delivery dates, a client who is unhappy for reasons that have nothing to do with the code. When I tell you a plan is realistic, that judgement comes from having been wrong about it before.
